Pearl S. Buck shows her readers the many faces of Wang Lung in her book, The Good Earth. Wang Lung is a stress farmer who gains each his wealthiness through the land. He struggles to sink from poverty to a well prise wealthy man. Wang Lungs character portrays a mans unselfishness, determination, and loyalty towards his family and friends.         Wang Lungs caring and liberal nature towards his family and friends distinguish him a well- liked person.
